“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, ESV)
Today’s post lines up with my most recent post about discerning your seasons. It also lines up with another one I recently wrote about not growing weary while doing good. If I relate this to my most recent post about being in a winter season, a winter season is a season of waiting. When it comes to discerning where you are at in life, don’t reject waiting. If you will embrace a time of waiting you will find that your strength is renewed during that time.
The Lord usually puts you in a season of waiting because your strength is being depleted and you need it renewed. You need strength, and lots of it, in order to mount up with wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint.
You must trust that the Lord knows just what you need, when you need it. Your time of waiting is just as important as your time of running. It brings you direction, it clears your mind, and it will renew your strength.
You are preparing to run again, embrace the waiting!
