download (6) “And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.” (Luke 12:7, NLT)

“Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.” (Isaiah 40:26, NLT)

God wants to reveal the bigger picture of our lives to us. Sometimes, all we can see is what’s directly in front of us but God wants us to see the bigger picture. We see a head full of hair, God see’s each individual hair and has them numbered. We see a sky full of stars, God calls each one by its name. We wouldn’t know if there was a star missing in the sky but God knows that not a single one is missing. He has the ability to see the bigger picture of our lives. You may be seeing the struggle in front of you and don’t know how you will ever get out of it, God sees the fruit of the struggle and already has a plan to bring you out. You may not be facing any specific struggle, you may be in a place where there’s so many good things in front of you that you don’t know what step to take next. All you can see is the small steps in front of you but God sees the broader picture. What God is saying now is, “I want to show you the bigger picture, and I want to give you a glimpse of what I see.” Sometimes we have to pull back from the details directly in front of us and take a broad look of what is down the road and of what God says about our future. Lift your head up, set your eyes in the distance, and take a look at the bigger picture.
