GeneralShermanTrunkToTreetop“And I have given you authority over all the power of the Enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you!” (Luke 10:19, TLB)

Life sometimes can throw things our way that can be so difficult that we forget the authority we have been given. During these times it is important that we stop and refocus and realize that we have been given authority over all the power of the enemy.
The enemy has been wreaking havoc in your life and it’s time for you to start wreaking havoc on the enemy. Someone wrote to me this week and said it’s time to start terrorizing the enemy, this served as confirmation to me to write on this throughout the week.

The enemy loves to make you feel helpless. He loves to get you so down and make you feel so defeated that you simply sit and do nothing. That’s part of his strategy because in reality, he knows you have the authority and he knows that you can completely crush his work in your life. It’s time to rise up, it’s time to come out of your slump. You’ve been given power over the enemy, and to walk among serpents and scorpions and to crush them. Nothing shall injure you!

Here’s the way I translate this. You’ve been given authority over the enemy and every one of his demons in your life. You can walk among sickness and disease and every other tactic of the enemy and have ability to completely crush the works of satan. It’s time to start terrorizing the enemy, it’s time to wreak havoc of the kingdom of darkness, and it’s time to take authority!
