SHAKING HANDS WITH YOUR ENEMIES

Categories: Inspiration

Agreement“When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.” (Proverbs 16:7, NLT)

“When God approves of your life, even your enemies will end up shaking your hand.” (Proverbs 16:7, The Message)

A very important key to walking in authority and walking with confidence that the enemy is defeated in your life is walking in and towards the call God has on your life. When your life pleases the Lord, your enemies are at peace with you. When God approves your life, your enemies will shake your hand.

Now, I’m not saying if you’re not walking in God’s call that He’s going to put judgement on you, that’s not the God we serve. Also, if you are experiencing attacks from the enemy it doesn’t mean that you aren’t in God’s will. We all experience times when the enemy attacks and we feel the repercussions of the attack even when we are right in the center of His will. The Message version says your enemies will end up shaking your hand. That means even if you’re experiencing difficulty and you’re in the middle of God’s will, keep walking in His will and the enemy will end up shaking your hand.

Authority is activated when we respond to God’s call on our lives. The enemy knows that because of your faith and determination you will be victorious. Walk confidently in God’s will for your life. You are going to find peace with your enemies. You’re going to find yourself shaking hands with your enemies!
