RUNNING OVER

0sOIk3Zl“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. ” (Luke 6:38, NLT)

The passage above was the verse of the day on my Bible app. As I read it I heard the Lord say that this is a season of running over. You have given large amounts of your life and you have obeyed and taken steps of faith and now God is going to bless you in ways you cannot contain.

I’ve shared on this verse before and you may remember. This refers to the days of gathering grain in the fields. The workers would quickly gather grain and the left over grain in the corners of the field were left for the poor to gather for themselves and take home. Because they didn’t know she the next opportunity would be to gather food for their families, they would fill their basket, press it down, shake it to make room for more and keep filling it until it was running over.

This is what God is now doing in your life. You may have felt pressed down lately, you may have felt shaken up but get ready because God is making room for a great running over blessing! This is your time, this is your season of great blessing, get ready to be running over!
