RUN TOWARDS THE ENEMY

“As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him.” (1 Samuel 17:48, NLT)

This one simple scripture can be the difference between spiritual life and death. The enemy likes to attempt to cripple us by using fear. We tend to treat the tactics of the enemy as bigger than the promises of God. It’s time for some of you to surprise the enemy and run towards the enemy.

David didn’t fear the potential consequences. In the natural, he didn’t stand a chance at defeating this giant. A boy, with 5 stones was going to defeat this trained soldier, a giant, name Goliath. I’m sure he may have had some thoughts of doubt run through his mind but he didn’t let that stop him. Perhaps if he stopped to think about his disadvantages it may have crippled him in fear. However, he didn’t let his mind overtake him because he knew he had the ability to defeat the giant.

Do things in your life look bigger than anything you can defeat? Are you crippled with fear because you sit and think about all the things that create doubt? Are the things you’re facing make you feel like a boy with 5 stones going out to face a giant? It’s time to run toward the enemy. Don’t stand and take it any longer. As your Goliath moves closer to attack, quickly run out to meet him!

Run towards your enemy!
