“When the Council saw the boldness of Peter and John and could see that they were obviously uneducated non-professionals, they were amazed and realized what being with Jesus had done for them! 14 And the Council could hardly discredit the healing when the man they had healed was standing right there beside them!” (Acts 4:13-14, TLB)

“They couldn’t take their eyes off them — Peter and John standing there so confident, so sure of themselves! Their fascination deepened when they realized these two were laymen with no training in Scripture or formal education. They recognized them as companions of Jesus, 14 but with the man right before them, seeing him standing there so upright — so healed! — what could they say against that?” (Acts 4:13-14, The Message)

I believe this is a time of the uneducated, the untrained, and the unknowns are rising to the top and will become known for their confidence and boldness. The signs that will follow will make it obvious that you are a companion of Jesus and those around you will be amazed and realize what being with Jesus has done for you.

When it comes to Kingdom work, there is no training required. I’m not against training and education, what I’m saying is there is a realization coming to The Church that you don’t have to have a formal Bible School education and you don’t have to be in full time ministry. It’s going to take all of us, from the pulpit to the marketplace to reach this world. The more confident we become in what we are called to do as individuals the more people will see Jesus.

Go ahead, don’t delay any longer, no training is required.
