file000686137510“Years passed, and the king of Egypt died. But the Israelites continued to groan under their burden of slavery. They cried out for help, and their cry rose up to God. 24 God heard their groaning, and he remembered his covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 25 He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act.” (Exodus 2:23-25, NLT)

As I was reading through Exodus and came on to this passage I heard the Lord say, “It’s time to act.” At first, I took that as something for you and I to do but as I read it again and listened again to what the Lord was saying, He was saying that it’s time for Him to act on your behalf.

He has looked down on you, you have passed the tests, you have been faithful, you have begun to walk in authority and you haven’t given up. God is now saying, it’s time for Me to act. I know for some of us this is difficult because we are always feeling like we need to act, we need to do something. This time, God is saying, keep doing what you’re doing, I’ve heard your cry and I am now acting.

Now is the appointed time in your life, continue to walk in authority and confidence and know that God is acting on your behalf!
