“Then I lay down and slept in peace and woke up safely, for the Lord was watching over me. 6 And now, although ten thousand enemies surround me on every side, I am not afraid. 7 I will cry to him, “Arise, O Lord! Save me, O my God!” And he will slap them in the face, insulting them and breaking off their teeth. 8 For salvation comes from God. What joys he gives to all his people.” (Psalms 3:5-8, TLB)

If you did not watch the Superbowl a week ago, I’m sure you heard about it on the news or in talking with others. Now, I’m not one to spiritualize every natural event that takes place. However, I do believe God can speak to us through natural events because it gives us something to relate to. The Superbowl may not have been a spiritual event but God can speak spiritual things to his people through natural events. I’m sure there have been others who have spoken prophetically concerning the Superbowl but I have avoiding reading them, not because I don’t believe them or respect them, because I do, but because I did not want to be persuaded by what God was speaking to me directly. I wanted to be sure I was hearing the Lord clearly and not influenced by what someone else has spoken prophetically concerning this.

This game will go down in history as one of the greatest comebacks of Superbowl history. As of right now, it is the greatest comeback in Superbowl history. The commentators said at half time that no team has ever comeback to win a Superbowl after being down by that many touchdowns. For the first time in Superbowl history the game went into overtime and the team that was down by a great deficit came back to win in the final seconds of the game.

Many at half time, including myself, thought the game was over. I was thinking about this throughout last week and the Lord spoke a very clear word to me. For The Church, that’s you, it’s comeback time! Many of you have felt like you’re at that half time point in your life and there’s no way you can bounce back from the loss you have experienced. The enemy is celebrating because he thinks he has won and you’re starting to believe the lie. The Word of the Lord to you is you’re not at halftime, you’re stepping into overtime. The enemy thinks he’s won, he thinks he has your family, marriage, health, finances, but the joke is on him because you are about to experience the biggest comeback in the history of your life! This will go down in history as a turning point in your life.

Don’t give up now, don’t buy into the lie of satan, it’s comeback time!
