prayer_hands“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” (John 14:12-14, NLT)

“These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” (Mark 16:17-18, NLT)

I can see a stirring desire within The Church to see the supernatural begin to manifest in the life of The Church and within our own daily lives. The answer to seeing the supernatural take place is in our hands. The passage above in John says that anyone who believes in Him will do the same works He did, and even greater works, why? Because He went to be with the Father. Jesus is not walking on earth in human form so He’s put that supernatural ability in our hands. He’s still doing the work, it’s Him working through us but He has contracted us here on earth to be His representatives and see the supernatural power of God flow through our hands and touch others.

During His time here on earth He did some pretty amazing miracles and this passage says we will do even greater works. I believe the time is now, there’s a stirring, there’s a setting up that God is doing and I am convinced that the generation that is alive on earth today is going to see the greatest move of God this world has ever seen.

The passage above in Mark says that miraculous signs follow those who believe, if you and I believe, we need to start expecting signs to follow us. Not so that we can look great but so that God can be made known to men. So that the world sees that there is a God who can cure the incurable, who can set people free who are in bondage. He has called us to place our hands on the sick, and see them be healed.

At the same time I see an anticipation of something greater in The Church, I also see a disappointment that some have not seen the supernatural take place. I encourage you today, don’t give up, keep pressing in, keep believing, there is a great supernatural move on the horizon and it won’t take place in just isolated spots, it will spread worldwide!

In your hands, it’s where the supernatural takes place.
