“The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. 36 What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she’s now in her sixth month. 37 For nothing is impossible with God.” (Luke 1:35-37, NLT)
The impossible becoming possible is a subject that we commonly hear in The Church world today, however, I am hearing a very strong emphasis on this subject for this year from ministers across this nation. I believe God is really stirring things up and I believe that 2017 is going to truly be a year where some things you have passed off as impossible, will become possible.
What jumped out to me the most from the above passage was the last part of verse 36, “People used to say she was barren, but she’s now in her sixth month.” This is the year of what has appeared to be barren will come to life. The key word here is “appeared.” Sometimes we must look beyond what things appear to be. Have others spoken barrenness into your future, or, have you spoken barrenness into your own future?
In 2017, what you and others viewed as barren is coming to life! In 2017 the impossible becomes possible!
