I AM ….. CALLING YOU OUT

change“The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” (John 10:3, NLT)

“God’s gifts and God’s call are under full warranty — never canceled, never rescinded.” (Romans 11:29, The Message)

“Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” 20 And they left their nets at once and followed him.” (Matthew 4:19-20, NLT)

The first step I wrote about yesterday was, “I am bringing you out”, next God says, “I am calling you out.” Now, you may be thinking, “What’s the difference?” God is first going to bring you out, He is going to deliver you from your Egypt. This next step of Him calling you out requires your cooperation and agreement. He can call you out but you must come in agreement with that call.
In the first passage above in John, it was customary for a Shepherd to give particular names to their sheep. As they did, the sheep began to recognize the voice of their Shepherd. God has given you a name that comes in line with your calling and the more you hear that name, the easier you recognize His voice. The more you get around people of like calling, the more that call and that gifting gets stirred up. For example, my call is prophetic, God has called me to that and when I get around prophetic people that gift is stirred and recognized. God calls me in that way and leads me out.

The next passage in Romans was something I felt very important to share today. There is a variety of people from all over the world that read my writings. There are those from all walks of life who have gone through things that I don’t know about. One thing I do know is some of you reading this feel like you’ve done some things that have cancelled your call. You’ve repented, you’ve turned around, but you still think that it’s been cancelled. God wants you to know today that His gifts and His call are under full warranty – never cancelled, never rescinded. He’s calling you back out, He’s calling you back into that pastoral anointing, that prophetic anointing, that healing gift that He gave you. God is calling you back out!

Last, the passage in Matthew. God is saying, “Come follow Me.” Will you drop your nets and follow Him? That may mean letting go of the normal. The fishermen dropped what they knew as normal to do something different. He used the same talents and gifts that they knew in the natural as fishermen and applied them to being fishers of men.

He’s calling you out, will you answer the call?
