“He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.” (Psalms 107:20, NLT)
“I am not even worthy to come and meet you. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed. 8 I know this because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. I only need to say, ‘Go,’ and they go, or ‘Come,’ and they come. And if I say to my slaves, ‘Do this,’ they do it.” 9 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to the crowd that was following him, he said, “I tell you, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel!” 10 And when the officer’s friends returned to his house, they found the slave completely healed.” (Luke 7:7-10, NLT)
God’s word goes before us and it creates even when we don’t realize it. There are many examples in the Bible of things happening from just a spoken word. God created the whole earth, by speaking. It may be hard to see, but God’s word has gone before you and it’s making a path and creating things for your future.
The Bible is full of words that God has spoken over your life. I encourage you to begin to dig those out. Whatever you’re in need of, find a Scripture that goes with it and begin to stand on it. God spoke those words many years ago knowing you would need them today. He has sent a word out ahead of you that heals, delivers, provides, opens doors, closes doors, and the list goes on.
I sense that many are discouraged and frustrated by today’s your day to start believing again. Today’s your day to realize again that God has gone before you. He’s sent His word ahead of you and it’s paving the way for your future.
Now is not the time to give up, it’s the time to press in. His word has gone before you.
