here i am“Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8, NLT)

God’s strategy for reaching people is no different today than it was in the days of Isaiah. He’s looking for those who will say, “Here I am, send me.” He’s looking for those who are willing to be a messenger to a people.

Every tribe of people, every group, needs a messenger. Matthew 24:14 says, “And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” Technology today has allowed this to become more realistic with social media and livestream capabilities. However, God still needs people to answer the call to reach people whether it be through technology or through in person interaction.

Some of you are called right where you are at, while others may be called to go out. The key is, are you willing to say, “Here I am, send me,” no matter where or what that is? Are you willing to not put restrictions on God and limitations on what you will do for Him?

The Lord is asking today, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” What’s your response? The greatest blessing in your life is when you are right in the center of what God has for your life. That is where you find fulfillment and purpose.

Here I am, send me.
