“And the Lord replied, ‘I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting. 16 Now get to your feet! For I have appeared to you to appoint you as my servant and witness. You are to tell the world what you have seen and what I will show you in the future. 17 And I will rescue you from both your own people and the Gentiles. Yes, I am sending you to the Gentiles 18 to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me.” (Acts 26:15-18, NLT)

In this passage the Lord is speaking to Saul before he became Paul. This passage, however, applies to all of us who call ourselves Christians. I believe each one of us have a group of people that we are assigned to, that the Lord has sent us to for the purpose of opening their eyes.

A week ago, I very clearly heard the Lord speak a specific word to me and I wrote it down. The Lord said, “The media will turn their eyes and attention to The Church.” This will happen as The Church applies the Scripture above. This will happen when The Church takes the mandate seriously and takes a message of deliverance wherever we go. When The Church starts to realize that the job we have, the house we live in, the town or city we are located in, the boards we sit on, the relationships we have are all strategic and we have been set in these places on purpose, for His purpose.

I see The Church rising to a place and position that we have never seen. As this happens the media is going to turn their eyes and attention to The Church and it won’t be for the purpose of criticizing The Church but it will be for the purpose of looking for answers because they discover a freedom and deliverance that the answers of this world have never brought. As the world looks for answers in several different places The Church will rise with the answer. Get ready, remember this word, it’s going to happen very soon. The media will turn their eyes and attention to The Church.
