Restoration is the word I keep hearing today. When you restore something, a car, a piece of furniture, a house, etc., you revive it’s original state. Your goal in restoration is to make something look like it did when it was new without all of the dings, dents, and rust spots. When you’re finished, even though it looks like it did when it was new, it doesn’t have all of it’s original parts and pieces. Some new items had to be put into it in order to completely restore it. Once something is restored, it usually looks better than it did when it was new.

God is restoring you. When you were a new Christian you had a glow on your face but through years of dings, dents, and a few rust spots your glow has faded. God is restoring you, your relationships, and your callings. He’s adding some new parts and pieces and even though that calling you have is still the same, He is updating it to look and be better than it was before. There is a complete restoration taking place in your life now. You’re coming out better than when you went in. The end will be greater than the beginning!
