Stephen’s Gate: Awakening Your Spirit, Reviving Your Destiny

joyAnd Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” (Nehemiah 8:10, NLT)

I’ve been hearing the word “joy” for the past few days. It’s joy that gives you the strength you need. Think about it, when you lack joy, you have no strength or desire for anything. However, when you have joy, you have strength. Are you feeling weak? Pray for joy because the joy of the Lord is your strength. God is restoring your joy, you season of sadness has come to an end and a season of overflowing joy is beginning!
