DIVINE GUIDANCE

178“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” (Psalms 32:8, NLT)

“I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.” (Psalms 32:8, TLB)

There are times in our lives when we may feel unguided. We may feel as though we can’t think or hear or ourselves. I’ve had times in my own life when I could give anyone else advise for direction but I couldn’t seem to advise myself. Those are usually the moments at which God is directing you down a path that He wants you to have no control over. He wants you to get to that moment where you don’t have a clue what to do, so that He can do what He wants to do in your life.

This Scripture says that He will guide you along the best path for your life and He will advise you and watch over you. I like The Living Bible translation where it says, “I will advise you and watch over your progress.”

We have our own personal guidance counselor for life. We have our own financial advisor, medical advisor, marriage counselor, and life coach. That doesn’t mean that we don’t use those that are professionals in these areas, it means we listen to God and let Him advise us along the way.

Sometimes you have to get to the point in life, and maybe you’re there right now, where you stop and let God guide you. If you will allow Him to, He will guide you down the best path and He will advise you and watch your progress.

We have Divine Guidance from above.
