steve“Rejoice, you people of Jerusalem! Rejoice in the Lord your God! For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring. 24 The threshing floors will again be piled high with grain, and the presses will overflow with new wine and olive oil. 25 The Lord says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you. 26 Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced. 27 Then you will know that I am among my people Israel, that I am the Lord your God, and there is no other. Never again will my people be disgraced.” (Joel 2:23-27, NLT)

As we continue with the restoration process, I couldn’t go through these steps without using the above passage. God’s desire in your life is truly to restore everything that has ever been lost. We all go through losses in our lives, some things are meant to be lost and not return while other things are lost due to life circumstances and God desires to see those things restored to better than they were before.

I believe that this is the fourth step in the process. Once you’re able to rest and hand everything over to God is when God can begin to restore that which was lost. See, when you go through a restoration process that means that you’ve lost something. The devil thought he had you, he thought if he could just attack your health, your mind, your money, your relationships, your family, etc. than he could destroy you forever, but God has a different plan and His plan and His solution to your losses is restoration. This is why it’s the key to joy in your life.

As I was writing this I heard the Lord say that there are even some doors that closed in your life and I didn’t intend them to close but due to man’s choices doors closed but I am the door opener and I am going to not just open new doors, I’m re-opening some doors that I didn’t want shut to begin with. So get ready, I’m restoring all things in your life and new doors AND old doors are about to open in your life. Don’t be surprised when the old doors open because that’s Me, I’m doing that, walk through them without hesitation.

This is your year to receive restoration, don’t give up now God is restoring to you the years the locust have eaten!

Tomorrow will be the last in this restoration series and this process in your life will take longer than 5 days. These are simply steps that my wife and I have learned in our walk and this process may take months to years in your life. It depends on where you’re at and the level of restoration that must take place. All I know is if you use these tools to help you through the process than restoration is guaranteed to take place in your life.
