“No, what you see was predicted long ago by the prophet Joel: 17 ‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts 2:16-17, NLT)

I believe I’ve written something similar to this a few years ago, the Lord reminded me of it and I tried to find it but couldn’t. What the Lord has placed on my heart to share with you today is there is a blending of generations in these last days.

I believe that this passage indicates a working together of all generations, of the young and the old and anyone in between. A dream is something we see within our minds and a vision is something we see with our eyes. What the Lord showed me was the older generation will dream the dream and the younger generation will see the vision of how to put it into action. The Lord showed me a man of the older generation sitting down with a young man and telling the young man that he has a dream and the minute he tells him the dream, the young man has a vision of how to make it happen and I see them sitting together and brainstorming. I see the older man imparting wisdom giving guidance while allowing the young man to walk out the vision that he has.

I believe that part of what this passage means is a coming together, one Kingdom, one purpose, one generation from the youngest to the oldest. There’s a blending of generations that will propel The Church in these last days.
