2015: GET READY, GET READY, GET READY

Categories: Inspiration

get-ready-banner2015, what will this year bring? The New Year always brings new excitement of a new beginning and things to come. If you follow prophetic ministry you will find many prophetic words going out as the New Year approaches and begins. You will see some differences and some similarities but you will most likely see a common thread in all of them. You will see how one gets a piece of the puzzle and another gets a piece of the puzzle. Those of us who operate with a prophetic gift take these things very seriously. When you release a word for the New Year you put yourself out there for criticism, however, as one who flows in the prophetic, I understand my calling and my gifting. My responsibility is to release the word the Lord gives me exactly as I hear it.

About one month ago I was talking with my wife about 2015 and I said to her, “I wonder what God will speak for 2015?” She immediately spun around and said, “Get Ready, Get Ready, Get Ready!” The minute she spoke it I knew it was the theme God was giving me for 2015 to share with others. It also brought me back to the first prophetic word we had received and the person delivering the word used those exact words, three times.

Get ready, get ready for what? I believe God wants us to prepare for what is to come in our nation, The Church, and our own personal callings. It’s time to get ready, it’s time to tie up the loose ends in our own lives so that we can step out and do what we are being called to do. There are four specific things that the Lord spoke to me that summarize 2015.

A move of the Holy Spirit, Promises fulfilled, Stepping into calling’s, and Last day revival. Within these four categories are a lot of details. You may be looking at these four categories and thinking they aren’t anything profound because God is always moving in these areas, and you’re right. What I believe is going to take place in these four areas in 2015 is an acceleration like we haven’t seen before. You are going to see a move of the Holy Spirit accelerated, there is going to be acceleration to promises fulfilled that you have been hanging onto, the calling you’ve been waiting to step into, God is going to accelerate that process, and there is acceleration to a last day’s revival.

Over the past month the Lord has spoken key prophetic words for 2015 to me that tie into these categories and I want to share those with you.

A Change of Direction and New Instructions

“You have been wandering around in this hill country long enough; turn to the north.” (Deuteronomy 2:3, NLT)

Later, Jesus appeared appeared again to the disciples beside the Sea of Galilee. This is how it happened. Several of the disciples were there – Simon Peter, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples. Simon Peter said, “I’m going fishing.” “We’ll come, too,” they all said. So they went out in the boat, but they caught nothing all night. At dawn Jesus was standing on the beach, but the disciples couldn’t see who he was. He called out, “Fellows, have you caught any fish?” “No,” they replied. Then he said, “Throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!” So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it. (John 21:1-6, NLT)

The Lord has specific instructions for your life. Do you feel like you’ve been fishing from the wrong side of the boat? I believe the Lord has detailed instructions for you to be successful in what He has called you to do. Listen closely to His voice as 2015 will be a year of great accomplishments as you simply “throw out your net on the right-hand side of the boat.” God may change your direction, be open and listen for His leading. There will be many “turn-arounds” in the New Year.

Signs & Wonders

“These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” (Mark 16:17-18, NLT)

I released this word the Lord gave me on my Facebook page on December 26, 2014. “I heard the Lord say many healing’s are taking place today. Spiritual, physical, and relational healing is happening now. There is healing that will come to you and through you and it’s happening now. Not tomorrow, not a month from now, not a year from now, but NOW! You cannot carry sickness in any part of your body, spirit, or relationships into 2015. These signs will follow those who believe, they WILL lay hands on the sick, and they WILL be healed. Go ahead, begin to lay hands on others today and believe God for healing in any area of their lives. If you don’t have anyone to pray for you, lay hands on yourself and believe for that healing. Healing that will take place today and up until January 1, 2015 will be a sign of the healing and miracles God is going to continue to release in 2015. It’s going to be a year of being set free!”

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” (John 14:12-14, NLT)

This is the time of miracles, signs, and wonders. Believe that you have the ability to do even greater things in the name of Jesus!

Divine Protection, The Enemy Disarmed

God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing. You have bedded me down in lush meadows, you find me quiet pools to drink from. True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure. You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing. Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life. I’m back home in the house of God for the rest of my life. (Psalms 23, MSG)

You’ve got a six-course dinner ready for you right in the presence of your enemies! I heard the Lord say that in 2015 you’re going to eat and be happy even in the presence of your enemies! Stop worrying, stop losing sleep at night because of your enemies because He’s got them under control. It’s time to rise above. He’s reviving your drooping head, your cup brims over with blessing!

The thief’s purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. (John 10:10, TLB)

Many times when we go through tough times in life we tend to focus on the first part of this passage rather than the last part. What the Lord spoke to me is, the enemy has stolen, killed, an destroyed your dreams but God has a purpose and that purpose is to give life back to those dreams. What you thought was done, what you buried and called dead, God is going to bring life back to it. Go back and research those things which you wrote off as dead because as we approach the New Year you will find yourself desiring those dreams again. 2015 will be a year of birthing. It may be a business, it may be a ministry, whatever it is, start preparing yourself now for those dreams to become reality in 2015.

“Hear me, Lord, and have mercy on me. Help me, O Lord.” You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!” (Psalms 30:10-12, NLT)

There are many of you who have gone through times and season’s of mourning. You’ve cried out to the Lord and you can’t understand why you are going through what you are going through but be encouraged because the season of mourning has come to an end. You are now entering a time of joyful dancing. Your clothes of mourning are being stripped away and replaced with clothes of joy. You will sing praises and not be silent. It starts now and will continue into the New Year. You WILL NOT carry mourning into 2015 for it will be a year of JOY!

A Formula For Church Growth

It wasn’t so long ago that you were mired in that old stagnant life of sin. You let the world, which doesn’t know the first thing about living, tell you how to live. You filled your lungs with polluted unbelief, and then exhaled disobedience. We all did it, all of us doing what we felt like doing, when we felt like doing it, all of us in the same boat. It’s a wonder God didn’t lose his temper and do away with the whole lot of us. Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he emraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! The he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah. (Ephesians 2:1-6, MSG)

The formula for reaching the lost and church growth can be found as we search the Bible. Preaching and testifying about the love of God is what will draw people in. I’ve been guilty myself of beating people over the head with their sin and it doesn’t work. We all know when we sin and really don’t need a reminder. What we need to be reminded of is God’s love. What the sinner needs to hear is God’s love. As The Church focuses on the last part of this passage it will be part of the formula to reaching the lost. “Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love, he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us! Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah.” Notice this passage doesn’t once tell us what we need to do, it points to everything that He has done. I’ve witnessed for myself, you will reach more people by telling them that God loves them in the midst of their sin than you will by pointing out a list of their wrongs. Get their focus on God and His love for them and they will walk out of that sin-dead life. When we begin to point people to their sin, it turns into a list of things they just can’t overcome. Let’s point them to the One who triumphed over sin and already has the formula for them to walk in freedom. In 2015 let’s point people to God’s love.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity – all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. (Acts of the Apostles 2:42-47, NLT)

For those who are willing, in 2015 signs, wonder, and unity is being restored to The Church in a way this nation has never seen and it will cause The Church to grow.

Read Acts 2: The best formula for church growth is allowing the Holy Spirit to move and have His way. It will be a witness to many and empower them to go and do and as a result, many will be added to The Church. In 2015 the Holy Spirit is looking for churches and ministries that will welcome Him with open arms, as they do, they will see profound growth.

I hope this witnesses to you for 2015 and adds to the pieces God has already spoken to you for your life, business, or ministry. I truly believe 2015 will go down in history as being one of the greatest years in church history. Get Ready, Get Ready, Get Ready!
